Approving Uploaded Smartmail

  1. Upload & Connect Smartmail Tactic via Ad Library
Notification shown once uploaded and passed validation

  1. Navigate to ADS MANAGER page on the left side menu

  2. Search by Advertiser, or filter by Status, Channel, Type, and / or Smartmail Tactic type.
  1. Click "Proof Link" to preview and review proof. 
    • Key items to look out for:
      • Any images or text overlapping.
      • Uploaded the mailer upside down / backwards. As the return address will always automatically post to the bottom right corner of the backside resulting in ovrelapping with images/text from the frontside if uploaded backwards. Reference Smartmail Specs for a guide. 
  2. Once reviewed, proceed with desired Action.
    • Green / Check = Approve
    • Red / Cross = Deny
      • If denied, the creative in the campaign Ads Library will show the status of "Changes Needed". Address the changes needed, reupload new creative, review proof again.
  3. When Approved, go back into the Campaign to toggle the Smart Mail tactic to RUNNING
